Women department of the Myanmar Council of Churches continues to support pregnant women and maternity along with children who survived the Nargis Cyclone storm on 2^nd May 2008. Most of the supports have been given to them in corporation with partners from Churches in Korea and Asian Church Women Conference. A small amount of financial support have been distributed to 250 women for rehabilitation and livelihood after a capacity building workshops in the areas of Bogalay,Laputha, Mawlamyaing Gyun, and Hlaing Thaya during February and March 2009.
