The workshop included an introduction to computer (the stages of the development and the minimum capacity of computer for video editing and IT); Video Camera works, Practical shooting and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 platform. There are 12 selected participants from the Corps and produced a song VCD during the workshop by the participants as groups. This workshop is a local initiative of the Salvation Army and the Communication Section of the Myanmar Council of Churches reached out with resource persons since Sg.Maj Aye Ko Min and Ms. Nway Nway Ko are Member of the Salvation Army who dedicated at the Communication Section of the Myanmar Council of Churches. There are very few local initiative programs in this country with their own expenses. This workshop is a good example for other minorities that local initiative can cut cost and build up confidence to further their skills in media technology for the community. Maj. Lal Thanga said that we are likely to have another workshop later in this year. |
