Hong Kong NCC agreed to take part in the MCC Round Table and rehabilitation project of Nargis victims. They had been to Seoul on 28th July and put up at the Bi Wan hotel. And they enjoyed the fellowship of Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK) and Presbyterian Church of the Republic of Korea (PROK) on 29th July. They also visited Archbishop Paul of the Church of the Province of Korea (Anglican) and Daw Yin Yin Maw could make a fellowship with the Mother Union. They also had a privilege of fellowship Korean Student Christian federation. The NCCK General Secretary accepted them on 31 July and encouraged them to have bilateral partnership with member Churches of NCCK like PCK PROK and Methodist Church etc. The NCCK and MCC agreed to have a bilateral Consultation with Korean missionaries operating in Myanmar. The group returned on 1st August from Korea. Only Rev. KD Tu Lum and Rev. Saw Shwe Lin continued to visit Taiwan and met Presbyterian Church of Taiwan as well as National Council of Churches of Taiwan. |
