In the year of 2010, the following programs are carried out by the Youth Work as directives given by the Youth Work Committee Members, CentralCommittee and the General Secretary of MCC. The main objective of the Youth Work is to promote the ecumenical spirit and youth action.

1. MatuP Regional Council Youth Network Building Seminar
The objective of the seminar is to build regional network for the emergence of new ecumenical agenda at the regional and grass-root levels. Thus, this seminar was specifically chose to held at Matup, Chan State. With the participations of 97 Mara people plut with chins who belong to chin ethnic group, group presentations and competition on songs, dramas, talent shows and games were carried out during the seminar.  

2. National Ecumenical Youth Leadership Training Course (15)
The objective of this course is to study on development and globalization, their effects and impact on young people. It targets to enable ecumenical parternaiship and sharing efforts among the participating students and youth movements in Myanmar. Basing on the theme “Prophetic Role for Ecumenical Solidarity,” the inputs on ecumenical youth leader, current issues, ecumenical movement, capacity building, inter faith dialogue, ecology and laws were offered to (35) Youth from (10) Denomination and (5) Regional Council Youth. At the end of the course, the Myanmar Ecumenical Youth Leaders partook the “Ecumenical Communion” together in unity. 

3. Disaster Responses and Management (DREAM)  for Rural Youth Leaders Training 
The training is hold to offer a biblical and theological reflection on disaster. It aims to promote disaster awareness, and to build regional network for the
disaster responses and management of the Rural Youth and grass-root level with the effort and cooperation of churches. The training was held with
76 participants from MCC member churches, Roman Catholic Church and other faiths.

 4. Cultural Action Workshop

Addition to the promoting the concept of Ecumenism among church youth leaders, this workshop is held to extend a wider cooperation with those who profess other faiths. Subjects like 21st century cultural, Myanmar dance and singing were presented. 

5. Cultural Action Team
 The team aims to promote cultural media identification of the Kingdomic value and  to express the love of Lord wit the message of the Gospel to various  cultures. The team (12 = 4 F + 8 M) used  dancing as the media to impart the values of Kingdom and the love of Lord to various cultures.

6. Documentation for Rural Youth Program
This program is designed to encourage rural youth with news and views of unity in mission activities, and also to serve as an educative tool in youth movement. In this program, there are about (100) youths from Kalay, Pathein, and other Regional Churches. In documentation process, MCC give aids in terms of computerizing and video recording. 

7. Ecumenical Youth Newsletter
The newsletter is produced to serve as an educative tool in Youth movement and to promote the education including of faith and ideology. It also aims to encourage youth with news and views of unity mission activities. The newsletter was produced on 14th January 2010. The articles and bible studies
from the Biannual General Meeting were reflected by the ecumenical youth leaders in the newsletter. 

8. Partnership for Community Health Project
The project was held two times to increase knowledge of Health for rural youth and to promote the holistic development of rural youth (Body, Mind and Spirit). Song contest and performances concerning with the health were included in the project. At the first time there were approximately about 1000 audiences and the next time was approximately above 1000 audiences. 

9. Youth Movement Committee Meeting
The meeting was held to make critical evaluation on MCC youth, and to strengthen fellowship and to issue youth program among the denominations, regional council of churches and rural youth through ecumenical youth works. This meeting had representatives from 8 denominations and co-opted committee members of MCC Youth Work, altogether 13 representatives. Not only strong and weak points of the programs were discussed but also new strategies for the future implementation were discussed in the meeting. 

Impact
From each program that was held in the year 2010, MCC Youth has promoted ecumenical spirit and networking at national, regional and rural levels.
Most of the participants had a good fellowship and understanding of cultures that empowers them to live in harmony back in their respective areas.
Futhermore, with the knowledge that they gained from the course, they are now skillful and knowlageable leaders. At the training course (15),
the participants could grasp the importance of cooperation and collaboration. They have taken initiative to build relationship with youths. As they gain knowledge on globalizations effect, most of theparticipants are sharing the positive and negative effects of the globalizations not only to the youngsters but also to local people. The knowledgable informations from the newsletter,documentation and videos clips which have contributed youth’s development in becoming a better person. Their involvement in song contest has increased their understanding of heath, especially through the song lyrics. As they gain health awareness, they are careful with what they eat, wear and go. They now understand the importance of personal hygene and healthy enviroment. Thus they are trying their best to share this knowlage to the local people and create a better envrionment with the local people.
