Communication Section of the Myanmar Council of Churches conducted a Media Workshop in Falamin response to the request of Rev. Dr. Do Sian Thang, the Principal of the Zomi Theological College(ZTC) during 21st November to 1 December 2007. The Workshop has been conducted in 2 parts, the first part is participated by all the ZTC students (aproximately 70) while only 9 media enthusiasts participated the advanced media course on media production (Video Production). Rev. Raymond Pome Za Lyan Communication Secretary, Saya Aye Ko Min, the Assistant Secretary of Communication Section and Rev. Dr. Yam Kho Pau of the Human Resource Development were present at the ZTC in those days from the Myanmar Council of Churches.

    Communication Secretary Rev. Raymond was able to install an iP Star Satellite Broadband hard ware and computers network for ZTC during those days apart from conducting the Media Workshop. The vice principal Rev. Za Hlei Kap said that most of the expenses for the iP Star Satellite Broadband for ZTC has been contributed by Zomi students abroad. ZTC is the most advanced theological college in Chin State and part of the ZOMI BAPTIST CONVENTION. Falam is located in the western part of Myanmar having an elevation of 5600ft. Falam is one of the most prominant city of the Chin State where cherry blooms and people are known to be very sincere and friendly.
